Demand Response Events are specific hours designated by your utility to represent peak periods of high energy demand and strain on the electricity grid. As a customer, these events are opportunities to shift and reduce your electricity consumption to help support your community and the electricity grid.
If you opted into a program with Automatic Smart Charging (SmartCharge Rewards), you can follow the WeaveGrid-generated schedule as your smart charging schedule will account for Demand Response events.
If you opted into a program without Automatic Smart Charging (Off-Peak Rewards), please adjust your charging when you receive an SMS message.
